Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was the Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. As for her mother, Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was aware that she had a talent for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Just 10 weeks after her initial tryout, she placed 2nd in the 200 meter event during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school and subsequently signed an official contract for Adidas. In the year 2004, she was enrolled at her first year at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic prize at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s, setting the new world junior record. She became the youngest world winner in the 200m in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed in the top three of athletes at her particular events.
